CODA , Succession e Ted Lasso hanno vinto i Producers Guild Awards 2022sabato.
Prendendo il primo premio, CODA ha vinto il Darryl F. Zanuck Award per l’eccezionale produttore di film teatrali rispetto ai colleghi candidati Being the Ricardos, Belfast, Don’t Look Up , Dune, King Richard , Licorice Pizza, The Power of the Dog , West Side Story e Tick, Tick… Boom! . La cerimonia si è tenuta al Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel di Los Angeles.
Gli altri vincitori della serata includevano Ted Lasso e Succession rispettivamente per episodi TV, commedie e drammi; Summer of Soul , Encanto , Mare of Easttown e The Beatles: Get Back si sono portati a casa anche i PGA Awards .
La vittoria di CODA rafforza le sue possibilità in vista degli Oscar del prossimo fine settimana. Mentre The Power of the Dog ha ottenuto il primo premio ai BAFTA Awards e ai DGA Awards, la vittoria del CODA PGA Award è un bel complemento alla vittoria del SAG Award come miglior ensemble. A una settimana dall’arrivo degli Academy Awards, sembra che sarà la migliore resa dei conti tra queste due protagoniste.
